MEA Attestation Services

The ministry of external affairs of india have laid down clear-cut procedures for document attestation which are given below.

1. State HRD/ Home Department attestation / Chamber of commerce authentication

   Before MEA apostille educational, personal and commercial documents need to be first authenticated from HRD, home department and chamber of commerce respectively

2. MEA attestation:

   Once the HRD attestation of the educational documents have been completed, then the papers go to the MEA for authentication. The Ministry of External Affairs validates the information in the papers, affix their signature on the documents and then it is sent to the country's respective Embassy for further attestation and visa.
